The Fall 2025 (September 2025 Start) Selective Admissions Application packet for the Nursing Program is now available and we are currently accepting applications. The deadline for students to apply is March 21, 2025.

Students wanting to complete pre-requisites for the nursing program should apply for the Health Occupations Certificate Program.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF UPCOMING ACCREDITATION REVIEW VISIT BY THE ACEN - POSTED 11/12/2024

Washington County Community College wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for initial accreditation of its associate degree nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 in the WCCC Boardroom in Riverview Hall located at One College Drive, Calais, Maine, 04619.

Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted to the ACEN via email at public-comments@acenursing.org or to the ACEN office:
