Thanks to the Maine Free College scholarship, students who are ready to work now don’t have to wait, they can train for good-paying skilled trades tuition-free and step directly into careers that strengthen our local workforce and fuel our economy.  From day one in the classroom to stepping onto job sites across our region, the Maine Free College scholarship opens doors for students and builds skilled talent that supports businesses, industries, and families right here in our community. Currently, the Maine Free Community College Scholarship that covers 100% of tuition and mandatory fees is available only through the Class of 2025. Thank you Governor Mills for proposing continued access to Maine Free College for the Class of 2026 and beyond! This move would extend it to this year’s graduating seniors and future high school graduates.
