The Google Certificate Programs, offered by Washington County Community College through the online learning platform Coursera, prepares students to enter or advance in the fields of IT Support, IT Automation, UX Design, Data Analytics, Project Management, and/or Digital Marketing.
If you have been wanting to enter begin a career in Information Technology or advance in your current role but do not have the skill or certifications employers are seeking, who better to teach you the tricks of the trade than Google, one of the most successful technology companies in the world?
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects consistent growth in the Information Technology Industry for the foreseeable future creating a significant increase in need for trained IT professionals. In efforts to address the workforce need for IT professionals, Washington County Community College has partnered with Google and Coursera to offer the highly desired Google Professional Career Certificate programs at NO cost! The Google Professional Career Certificate Programs, designed to get students job-ready to enter high-wage, in-demand careers, offer flexible, online training requiring under 10 hours of study per week and use hands-on projects and direct employer connections to help grasp the subject areas.
In addition to expert training and hands-on projects designed to prepare you for a job in your field of choice, you’ll get access to a resume building tool, mock interviews and career networking support designed to help you with your job search. You’ll also be able to connect with over 150 U.S. employers in the hiring consortium who are accepting candidates who have completed a Google Career Certificate.
