Partners in Entrepreneurial Pathways 1.0 & 2.0

Enroll for college credit or join individual sessions -for free!

Pathways programs are open to current or aspiring entrepreneurs at no cost.  Individuals can choose any one session, or multiple sessions, to attend.

Completion of the entire 1.0 or 2.0 series results in 3 college credits and Entrepreneurship Digital Badges. To receive college credit, participants must attend the entire series (live or by viewing recordings) and complete weekly assignments and a final project.

Partners in Entrepreneurial Pathways (PIEP) 1.0: Venture Exploration (10 weeks) takes place every Fall, while PIEP 2.0: Beyond the Business Plan (11 weeks) begins at the start of each year.

All course sessions will be facilitated by Amanda Smith, Coastal Opportunities Advisor at Sunrise County Economic Council. This course is brought to you by Washington County Community College’s Workforce and Professional Development Division,MaineStreet Business Building (a program of Sunrise County Economic Council), and industry and business support network partners.

PIEP 1.0: Venture Exploration

Accredited Start-Up Incubator Course

The asynchronous course/workshop series covers the nuts and bolts of small business start-up.  Each session will be led by a different guest lecturer who is a subject matter expert in the field. Business advising workshops and opportunity presentations will be available throughout the course and students will work through the stages of business planning, leading up to a complete business plan draft as the final project. Small business owners and entrepreneurial enthusiasts from the community will be able to select and audit sessions of their choice, providing an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. 


PIEP 2.0: Beyond the Business Plan

Accredited Start-Up Accelerator Course

Learn the practical application of business acumen and gain insight into what makes our markets and ecosystem tick during this 11-week virtual asynchronous course. The sessions are led by a variety of guest lecturers who are subject matter experts in their fields.
